Kenya Scholars

Jambo (translates to “Hi” in Swahili) People of John Wesley,

Most everyone I know has a deep desire to make a difference in the world we live in. It is heart-wrenching to see the plight of so many people who are living life without their most basic needs met—needs you and I often take for granted, such as food, water, education, community, and even a place to worship. We hear stories and want to help. However, in most cases, there is no clear path to follow that seems safe to offer assistance.

This is the situation we were confronted with in our mission travels to Gilgil, Kenya. Trinity Mission School is a place where boys and girls receive an education that gives them hope for the future. Before John Wesley’s Kenya Scholars Partnership ministry began, students like Samy and Mary had little promise for their adulthood. Because many of you donated $600 to ensure a year of room, board, tuition, teachers, supplies, and more for future teachers, accountants, pastors, nurses, etc., you are getting a return on your investment that is incalculable.

Will you prayerfully consider a second-mile financial gift to support the Kenya missions of John Wesley Methodist Church on behalf of the future of Kenya? In just two steps, you can pledge your gift for the 2025 school year. Click HERE and follow the steps (designate Kenya Scholars in the FUND menu).

We have an avenue to invest in the future of the Kingdom of God and cannot wait to hear the stories!

Mungu akubariki (God Bless You)
